Here are some pictures that I finally downloaded from my cell phone. If the quality seems crappy, you know why.
Above is a picture from our ice cream adventure with Madalyn, Uncle Shawn, & Aunt Jaime. Below is a rare moment when our big girl feel asleep snuggling her mommy.
Above is a snapshot of the girls having a little chat! Below is a picture of Alana at Lowes going for her first ride in a big kid shopping cart.
Now for the sad news...our little Mooms had her very first visit to the ER last night. She became sick on Thursday afternoon and couldn't keep down any food or liquids. She quickly became dehydrated and started a fever. Luckily the wait wasnt too horrible and all of the staff were helpful, friendly and caring...would you believe that I too her to Health Central?????
Needless to say...our little monster gets into the waiting room and decides she has an audience unlike anything she has ever seen before...so what does our little ham do? She perform! She danced and sang and put smiles on the sick faces waiting just like us. It was too cute. I was, however, afraid they would think I had munchausen (sp?)syndrome and that my kid wasnt really sick...not to worry mom...she always knows when to show her true colors!!!

PROOF!
This is proof that we abuse our children by dressing them up in silly costumes just to make them look cute! These pictures are from Saturday. We had an egg hunt at my mom's house, ate a nice dinner, and decorated cookies. It was a fun day for the kids. My nephew was there along with my step sister Gabby. They all had a blast playing!

GO YANKEES!!!!!!
The cuteness continues
It is so hard to look at her and not want to take a picture to help capture her cuteness forever. All day I want to love, bite, hug, eat and squeeze her. She is so wonderful!

The Official Cuteness Update
Lana has grown so quickly! As her parents we are always amazed at her learning new things. For example, this past weekend she added a new word to her vocabulary: BABY. Yesterday we went to Publix and every child she passed, she pointed to and said BABY...BABY!
I figured I would take the time today and list all of her amazing accomplishments. She is now 13.5 months old....
Words she says:
duck, book, Mama, Dada, Papa, hi, quack, bloo (Balloon), juice, ear, what, bite, brush, Bops (Doodlebops), ball, star, Ba (bottle), horse, boob, wow, psst, up, please, baby, dog, cat, tickle-tickle, belly, eye, light, flower...I think that is all of them for now...:-)
She started walking on her 8 month birthday. She has 10.5 teeth. She loves to dance and sing. She can climb on & off the couch. I can point to my ear, nose, eye, belly, mouth. Her favorite games are Wrestling & Hide & Seek. She has also gotten very good at giving kisses (regular, blowing kisses, & eskimo). She also loves to give high fives & E.T. Phone Home!
I am sure there is much more, but I cant think of anything else at this time to add...I will be sure to add more if I remember or if she learns anything new :-)

The First Chapter
As you may not know. my close friend Jaime and her family came to visit this past weekend. They were here for about 5 days. It was so much fun as she has a beautiful 10 month old little girl. Well, her daughter and mine played until there was nothing left in them at the end of the day :-) They had so much fun!
Lana shared Madalyn's first ice cream experience, played with all their toys together and even had very meaningful conversations! During their stay, Jaime's sister came to visit with her two little ones. It was so awesome as Jaime and I grew up together and now our girls can too! (tear!) Here are some pics and I will post some more later.
